Trannish Bothy – Upper Lough Erne
Trannish Island Bothy is a renovated island dwelling and campsite that provides a fantastic overnight camping experience with shelter from the elements. It is a back to basics shelter which provides accommodation, toilets and camping facilities. It is very popular with canoeists, youth groups and families.
Ballyhornan Scout Centre – Strangford
Ballyhornan is located in Ballyhornan Village, five miles from Strangford and seven miles from Downpatrick. This location allows us to offer participant’s activities in a coastal environment and also access to the Mournes which are only 30 minutes away.
Salt Island – Strangford Lough
The Bothy is located on Salt Island on Strangford Lough just south of Killyleagh. It is a bunkhouse which provides basic accommodation for canoeists for 8 people with tented accommodation also available.
